Social work
Social work is a profession dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities enhance their well-being and address a variety of social issues. Social workers aim to improve the overall quality of life for people facing challenges such as poverty, discrimination, abuse, mental health issues, and other social difficulties.
Social workers can be found in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, mental health clinics, child welfare agencies, community organizations, and government agencies. They work with diverse populations and aim to promote social justice, equality, and the well-being of individuals and society as a whole. Social work is regulated by ethical standards and often requires a professional degree in social work, such as a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or a Master of Social Work (MSW).
